What is a healthy replacement for Maida in our meals?

I am trying to lose weight and I have read that Maida is not good for my diet. What are some good replacement ideas?


  • Maida has little or no fibre. It is difficult to digest. You could replace maida with ragi flour, quinoa flour, bajra flour, jowar flour, soy flour, or whole wheat flour, semolina (sooji).
