What are antioxidants?

Antioxidants are free radical scavengers. Free radicals are formed as byproducts of various reactions taking place inside the body. Free radicals are harmful for us. Antioxidants help us fight diseases.

What are different types of antioxidants?

Vitamin A, C and E are powerful antioxidants.

Vitamin A rich foods :

  • Yellow, orange, red coloured fruits and vegetables
  • Milk and milk products

Vitamin C rich foods:

  • Kiwi
  • Mango 
  • Papaya
  • Amla
  • Guava
  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Lemon
  • Oranges
  • Tomatoes
  • Broccoli

VITAMIN E RICH FOODS :

Not only foods, but few of the common drinks/ smoothies also help in giving the right immunity power to us.

General immunity boosting tips:

In general, we beleieve there are basic, but solid foundation steps that everyone can take to increase immunity:

  • Eat fruits and vegetables in abundance.
  • Eat almonds/walnuts daily
  • Maintain good mental health.
  • Avoid smoking and alcohol.
  • Make one immunity boosting beverage daily
  • Maintain good personal hygiene!
